It is a pleasure to welcome you to Deanesfield Primary School and Nursery.  We are very proud of our caring school; its wonderful children; dedicated, talented staff and supportive community.  Our school values academic, creative, sporting, social and personal development equally highly and we believe that children learn best when they experience enjoyable, relevant activities and where they are encouraged, supported and appropriately challenged.   We aim to enable our children to become enthusiastic, independent, life-long learners by helping them to develop positive attitudes to learning and the skills and knowledge they need to succeed.

Upcoming Open Mornings for Prospective Parents!

Are you a parent / carer looking to apply for a Reception place, or know of any families who may also be applying for a school place for the next academic year starting in September 2025? If so, come along to one of our Open Mornings where you can visit our school and learn more about what we have to offer!

Our remaining scheduled Open Mornings/School Tours are due to take place as follows:

• Wednesday 16th October 2024 at 9.00am
• Wednesday 16th October 2024 at 10.30am

Places are limited and will be given on a first come, first served basis, so book your place now to avoid disappointment!
To book your place, please complete the Google form found on our ‘Welcome’ page under the ‘About Us’ tab.
