    Welcome to Deanesfield Primary School & Nursery

    It is a pleasure to welcome you to Deanesfield Primary School and Nursery.  We are very proud of our caring school; its wonderful children; dedicated, talented staff and supportive community. Deanesfield is a bright, busy, welcoming school where there is always lots going on.  We aim to provide the best possible education for our children and value academic, creative, sporting, social and personal development equally highly.  We believe that children learn best when they experience enjoyable, relevant activities and where they are encouraged, supported and appropriately challenged.  We aim to enable our children to become enthusiastic, independent, life-long learners by helping them to develop positive attitudes to learning and the skills and knowledge they need to succeed.

    For some of our youngest learners, their journey starts in our Nursery. We are able to offer nursery age children free 15hr morning nursery place, Monday - Friday OR a 30 hr place, (if eligible).

    To support our families, we also offer additional Nursery hours as well as access to our Breakfast and After School provision, which is located on site. 

    School Tour (Expression of Interest)

    If you are looking for a school place for your child, or are interested in applying for a Nursery place and would like to come and have a look around, please complete the following 'School Tour - Expression of Interest' form. 

    School Tour - 'Expression of Interest' Form (for prospective parents only)

     

    Please be advised that School Tours will only be arranged if there is sufficient interest to do so and we will contact you to inform you accordingly.

    • Please note that all school tours will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
    • The school will contact you prior to any upcoming school tour arranged, to confirm your attendance and provide you with all details and any further information you may require.
    • A maximum of 2 adults will be permitted per family.
    • Unfortunately, we are unable to allow children to join the school tour. Therefore, parents will need ensure alternative childcare arrangements have been made for any children, toddlers and babies during the visit.
    • Please note that all information collected on this form is stored securely and will be discarded in line with the current data protection legislation.
